19.7x27.6 in ~ Painting, Oil
One October morning I got up to catch this brief moment after sunrise. The place is located in a river valley, so I had to wait a little for the first rays of the sun. As they gradually slid from the tops of the trees to the limestone cliffs and the meadow in the foreground, even the morning frost disappeared and the illuminated part took on warmer tones. This created a significant contrast both in color and in feelings when looking at the left and right sides of the picture. Even today, I still feel the warm feeling in the sun and remember how I didn't want to go down to the valley again in the freezing weather.
