19.7x27.6 in ~ Painting, Oil
The Tatra spruce forests have been put to the test in recent years. In addition to stronger winds, they are also destroyed by bark beetles. I like to walk through them around their unique climate and the smell of pine needles. Occasional clearings bathed in the sun also have their own atmosphere, I tried to capture one of them in this work. I was interested in the light effects in the treetops as well as on the path trodden across the maturing grass.
