59.1x78.7 in ~ Painting, Oil
This painting of mine is loosely inspired by the British musical comedy SIX, which retells the story of the six wives of the British monarch Henry VIII in a modern, pop concert format.
Through painting, I wanted to express the idea that every woman is different, that she is different from others... that she is unique and unmistakable...
If you look closely at the picture, you can see that all six women are united only by the fact that they are in one place at a given moment. Each one is there individually and nothing connects her with the others, they have de facto nothing in common.
They have completely different clothes that characterize their personality and lifestyle... The poses they are in and the expressions on their faces express completely different character traits and traits of their personalities. You can explore them yourself and in your imagination look for the stories behind each character.
And what is perhaps more important? Perhaps the 6 women represent only one woman with her diverse characteristics...
